Week 7 saw a major upset as Kirkby A stunned league contenders Kirkby B 7–2, while Sports A and Sports B took narrow wins. Nunthorpe stay top, with just four points separating the top five. Mick GB impressed for Kirkby A with calm, confident wins in both singles and doubles.
Week 6 brought tight matches and renewed calls for referees. Nunthorpe Rec and Kirkby B are joint top, with Ayton third and Sports B close behind. Jack Butler returned with composed wins in singles and doubles to secure winning ways again for Kirby B
Sports B caused the upset of the season with an 8–1 win over league leaders Kirkby B, while Sports A edged a close 5–4 victory against Ayton. William McIlvanney starred as Player of the Week after leading Sports B to their first win of the campaign.
